As the rising sun pushes nights cover to brighten and warm the earth
So does your smile hasten its lover to your side
Together our hearts beat as one like the pounding of two distant oceans
Each day, to reach each other’s grasp we fight
Struggle we will till one day there is no bridge to cross
Then we can roll in the growth of springs new grass and remember our time of the past
Our fire will burn bright and true and on that day we will know the truth
